As with Cream Sodas - I prefer Grape Soda
pre refrigerated (or bottle in ice) before opening. If not - pouring a warm soda over ice severely affects the sparkle and taste.

A note about GRAPE Soda: In the mid 1900's - a "soda" was real different that a soda is now (2009). A stop at a gas station of the corner (literally on "the" corner) store - kids must have looked like sad, begging puppies, waiting for their parents to say something like "you want a soda" or (more likely) "you'all can share a soda" (see there were no out of control loudmouth brats storming the isles ..... you kept your mouth shut and waited to be spoken to)

There was no big decision over coke, pepsi and all that crap - the decision was GRAPE or Orange (specifically NEHI Grape or Orange) - since it was always a "share" each kid ..... oldest first, took a swig and passed it (no, no guzzlin') needless to say it didn't take long for one bottle to be GONE - and all were satisfied!!!!

Reserved for NEHI Grape Soda

(They tell me the factory does not ship west of the Mississippi !!!! What a loss ....... almost a reason to move back east!!!)

Thomas Kemper
Classic Grape

Has a brown bottle - BUT the label is the right color!!!

Real Good, it is a "classic" grape with the right amount of "fizz" and a good, old time grape tang.

Olde Brooklyn
Greenpoint Grape Soda

An excellent selection. Rich, full classic grape flavor. Highly Recommended
